Blood Pressure Screening

Blood pressure screenings are provided the second Sunday of the month (September - June) from 8:30am-12:30pm in the school library. Why is your Blood Pressure Reading important? High Blood Pressure (HBP) is sometimes called "the silent killer" because HBP has no symptoms, so you may not be aware that it's damaging your arteries, hearts or other organs. Possible health consequences that can happen over time when HBP is left untreated include: Damage to your heart, Stroke, Kidney damage, Vision loss, Erectile dysfunction and Angina.
