General Information

Liturgy is the public worship of God carried out by the entire Church, both in heaven and on earth - the Mystical Body of Christ. With Christ as the Head of the Body, we are sanctified and strengthened for the life that God calls us to. It is through our Liturgy that we are taught, strengthened and filled with hope, not only in this life, but for the life that is to come. The Liturgy makes present to us the saving power of God and His love for us in His Son through the Holy Spirit. We believe that the actions of Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection that are part of our Liturgy are not merely memorials, but are also present and active to us in our time and place through the Church.

Liturgy at Holy Family is made beautiful by the many volunteers who assist us with singing in a choir to cleaning the floors! We are Altar Servers, musicians, lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, sacristans, ushers, and even decorators. Our job is to make sure that every liturgical function at Holy Family is done to the best of our ability and all for the glory of God. The director of Liturgy and Music is Mrs. Kelly K. Kingett. She can be reached through the parish office extension 307. Her office hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and evenings and weekends as scheduled/needed.
