Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are the lay people trained to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. They go through extensive training both through the diocese as well as in our parish. Then they receive a mandate from the diocese to distribute Holy Communion at Mass as well as to our homebound parishioners. A person who wishes to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion must go through the training and receive a mandate before they are allowed to distribute the Precious Body and Blood of our Lord. The coordinators for the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are Jeannine Evans, and Elia Rodriguez.
