What does Holy Family offer to high schoolers?
PULSE - Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 PM - is time for high school teens to learn about the Catholic faith, meet new people, spend time with friends, pray together, and more. Some nights may include Mass, dinner, games or challenges, guest speakers, music, special prayers and surprises. Open to all high school teens, should be registered, but don't let that stop you from coming. Friends are welcome.
Why "PULSE"? - In order to be alive, we must have a pulse. In order to be truly alive, we must have Jesus as the center of our hearts and living within us. He is our "pulse", our way to eternal life. If we are cut off from Jesus, through sin, we are not truly alive. Our PULSE nights will focus on ways to always keep Jesus at our center.
PULSE runs Sept 18th - June 3rd. All high schoolers are welcome, even if not registered for R.E. Meet in the Teen Center, located in the alcove behind the gym. Dinner included at this session.
LOCK - IN!!! A night of fun with Holy Family and Sacred Heart teens! Spend the whole night at the church playing games, watching movies, meeting new people, and hanging with your friends.

World Youth Day 2013 - it will be here before you know it! To be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pope Benedict XVI invites all young people to join him at the Cross, praying and worshiping together as a universal Church. Tentatively scheduled for July 18-23, 2013, World Youth Day organizers hope to welcome over a million young Catholics. The Diocese of Arlington will again be organizing a trip, and usually includes an option for an extended pilgrimage journey in addition to the week of WYD. Participants must be 16 or accompanied by a parent. However, due to the nature of this experience, it is geared towards young adults, and not young teens. Watch the parish bulletin for information about an interest meeting. The first deposit of $450 is due Monday, February 27th at the parent/teen meeting.
Confirmation Retreats - February 17-19 and March 2-4, 2012 - Confirmation Candidates will be assigned one of these weekends. RE classes, PULSE, Bible studies, etc.), attend all meetings (only exceptions are college students living away from area).
