RCIC - Rite of Christian Initiation for Children

 

Children (ages 7-17) who have not been baptized or have been baptized in another Christian tradition are eligible to be part in the RCIC. As they will either be baptized into the Catholic Church or make a Profession of Faith into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil and receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. 

 

The RCIC program in a 2-year program, where students learn about the Catholic faith and specifically, the sacraments. Students entering the program are place in an age level group, starting in September and ending in May. Those receiving sacrament will do so in their second year at the Easter Vigil mass. 

 

Registration opens in the Summer, and we have limited space, you must register students every returning year!
