Ensemble - Philippine Dance Ensemble. The Group International Foundation Fil-Am Dance Ensemble, popularly known as TGIF Fil-Am Dance Ensemble, is ready to entertain you with Cariñosa Philippine folk dance. Cariñosa is a popular folk dance of Hispanic origin that was introduced to the Philippines by the Spaniards when they arrived in the 16th century. It is closely associated with the island of Panay and the Visayas region in general. The word Cariñosa means the affectionate or loving one. It is danced with using a handkerchief and movements of the whole body. Without further adiew, pleas weelcome the TGIF Fil-Am Dance Ensemble to perform Cariñosa. Let’s give them a big hand!

Tess Bonaguro was born in Bicol, Philippines. She has been a realtor for 21 years which is affiliated with Samson-Properties. She loves to travel with her husband, counsel and being a missionary to be servant of God by writing and singing Gospel songs. Tess also is an Entrepreneur and Business Builder. In this age, she desires to do the mission of reaching out to remote places bringing food and good news especially in many islands and teach faith. Her mission before leaving earth is to share his words, feed the hungry and introduce salvation through Christ.

Manang Biday is a traditional Ilocano folksong in Northern Luzon, particularly in the province of Ilocos. This song implies the courtship of a young maiden named Manang Biday. Serenading or Harana in Tagalog or Filipino word is a love interest commonly famous custom of the Filipinos. Until today, it is still practiced by the Ilocanos. Since 2009, performing througout the DMV area. Their repertoire consists of cumbias from El Salvador and Colombia, as well as merengues, bachatas, and quebraditas.
8:25 - 8:50 PM: Rincón de Luz - Folklore Dance
Rincón de Luz will perform folklore dances from El Salvador, mix of cumbia from the singer Selena and Latin countries mix.
