OCIA - Order of Initiation for Adults
OCIA is designed to bring those adults who are not baptized or have been baptized in another Christian tradition into full initiation with the Catholic Church (i.e., Baptism or Profession of Faith, Confirmation, and 1st Holy Communion).
The average period of instruction is approximately eight months. Classes are held every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in English and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. in Spanish.
The fee for the class if you register in June is $80, in July $90 and after the registration will be $100. Attendance is required during the entire preparation time.
The classes cover the Creed, Confession, 1st Holy Communion and Confirmation. Those who qualify will be receiving the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
